Refund Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

We want URLCapsule to be worth it. Here is exactly how billing, cancellation and refunds work, in plain language.

1. Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing and never expires. You can use up to 100 saved links without entering any payment details, so you can try the core product with no risk before upgrading.

2. Cancel anytime

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

3. 14-day refund on your first annual plan

If you purchase an annual Pro plan for the first time and it is not for you, request a refund within 14 days of that first payment and we will refund it in full.

This 14-day guarantee applies to your first annual purchase only. Renewals of an annual plan and monthly payments are not covered by the automatic 14-day refund, though your legal consumer rights still apply (see sections 5 and 7).

4. Monthly plans

Monthly Pro payments are for the month in progress and are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel before the next renewal to avoid further charges. If you were charged after cancelling, or something clearly went wrong, contact us and we will make it right.

5. EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from any distance purchase — monthly or annual — within 14 days, without giving a reason. This right exists in addition to the goodwill guarantee in section 3.

To exercise this right, email support@urlcapsule.com within the 14-day period from the address on your account, stating that you withdraw from the purchase.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@urlcapsule.com from the address on your account, telling us which charge you want refunded. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits the consumer protection rights you have under Spanish and EU law. Where those rights give you a stronger remedy, they apply.
